This excellent patchouli oil (Pogostemon cablin leaf oil, steam-distilled) by Nature's Sunshine is from a source in Indonesia. It has a rich, earthy aroma with a subtle fruity accent.
Patchouli
oil has a balancing effect on emotions.When used topically, it
can ease irritation of the skin. As with other oils, it should be diluted with a neutral oil before topical application. Use a concentration of less than 2 percent (eg., 15 drops per tablespoon of massage oil).
NOTE: Essential oils may be used aromatically or topically in a variety of ways including diffusers, massages, compresses, baths, scrubs, lotions and sprays. Essential oils should be diluted with a massage oil or carrier oil before applying topically.
